Who am I?
I am a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine with a specialist background in Infectious Diseases, HIV prevention, sexual health and global health.
I graduated in Medicine from the University of Udine in 2008 and completed specialist training in Infectious Diseases at the University of Verona in 2014. I later completed an MSc in Tropical and Infectious Diseases at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and a PhD in Infection and Global Health at the University of Liverpool.
Since 2019, my clinical and research work has focused on HIV prevention, sexual health, complex infections and antimicrobial resistance. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with clear, respectful and stigma-free care, helping patients make informed decisions about their health.
I believe in patient-centred communication, prevention, professional integrity and equitable care—combining scientific evidence with compassion and respect for every patient.
